Introduction

The logic board is the brains behind the camera and should be handled delicately.

Parts

No parts required.

Remove the 2 screws(2.41mm long) on the side of the camera next to the LCD screen. Remove the 2 screws(4.08mm) on the other side.  One is located under the rubber USB flap. Remove the last screw(2.59mm) located on the bottom of the camera.
  • Remove the 2 screws(2.41mm long) on the side of the camera next to the LCD screen.

  • Remove the 2 screws(4.08mm) on the other side. One is located under the rubber USB flap.

  • Remove the last screw(2.59mm) located on the bottom of the camera.

  • Slowly pull the back cover of the camera.

Remove the screw(2.59mm) from the bottom of the camera. Remove the screw(4.08mm) from the menu button side of the camera. The 2 screws on the other side of the camera were already removed when taking off the back cover.
  • Remove the screw(2.59mm) from the bottom of the camera.

  • Remove the screw(4.08mm) from the menu button side of the camera.

  • The 2 screws on the other side of the camera were already removed when taking off the back cover.

Add Comment

Unplug the green (if color-blind please ask someone for assistance) and white plugs connecting the top panel to  top of the logic board. Dislodge the tab above the lens.
  • Unplug the green (if color-blind please ask someone for assistance) and white plugs connecting the top panel to top of the logic board.

  • Dislodge the tab above the lens.

  • Dislodge the back tab.

Remove 2 screws(1.75mm) using a screwdriver.
  • Remove 2 screws(1.75mm) using a screwdriver.

  • Detach 3 ribbons by pulling up on them. All are on the front of the camera.

Remove the newly exposed screw(1.75mm) with screwdriver. Unhinge the black tab to slide out the ribbon.
  • Remove the newly exposed screw(1.75mm) with screwdriver.

  • Unhinge the black tab to slide out the ribbon.

  • The only thing keeping logic board in place is a black nub. Lift the logic board from that corner with increasing force until it pops out.
