Introduction

The LCD display can be removed and replaced if it is cracked or broken.

Parts

No parts required.

Image 1/3: Remove the 2 screws(4.08mm) on the other side.  One is located under the rubber USB flap. Image 2/3: Remove the last screw(2.59mm) located on the bottom of the camera. Image 3/3: Slowly pull the back cover of the camera.
  • Remove the 2 screws(2.41mm long) on the side of the camera next to the LCD screen.

  • Remove the 2 screws(4.08mm) on the other side. One is located under the rubber USB flap.

  • Remove the last screw(2.59mm) located on the bottom of the camera.

  • Slowly pull the back cover of the camera.

Image 1/3: Disconnect the ribbons connecting the screen to the camera. Image 2/3: Remove the screen by lifting it off. Image 3/3: Remove the screen by lifting it off.
  • Remove the screws(2.88mm) at the top right corner and bottom left corner of the LCD screen.

  • Disconnect the ribbons connecting the screen to the camera.

  • Remove the screen by lifting it off.

Hm. "Disconnect the ribbons" resulted in a torn ribbon, and so a dead camera, I think. This also doesn't say how to take the LCD screen out of its frame. Alas.
