Disassembling BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 Key Pad

Introduction

Determining a problem with the keypad or circuitry begins with removing the keyboard from the Blackberry Pearl.

What you need

    • Ensure the bottom piece is fully detached by gently prying it loose with the plastic prying tool.

    • Take the plastic prying tool and gently work around the keypad.

    • When loosened, simply lift the keypad up and off.

    • Once the keyboard is loosened, the button on the side of the phone may also release.
