What you need

Step 1 Sliding the Battery Release Latch

Flip the computer over.
Slide the battery release latch to the unlock position.

Step 2 Slide the Battery Release Latch

Slide the other battery release latch to the unlock position.

Step 3 Removing the Battery

Slide the battery and remove it from the computer.
If this is all you are doing Follow Step In Reverse if not Go to Next Step.

Step 4 Remove the Screws

Remove the screws that secure the base cover to the computer.

Step 5 Removing the Base Cover

Lift up the base cover and remove it from the computer.
If this is all you are doing Follow Step In Reverse if not Go to Next Step.

Step 6 Releasing the Memory Module

Push apart the memory retention clips to release the memory module.

Remove the memory module from its connector on the system board.
