Dell Precision M4500 Hard Drive Replacement

Step 1 Battery

• Slide the battery release latches to the unlock position.
• Slide and remove the battery from the computer
Step 2 Base Cover

• Loosen the captive screw that secures the access panel to the base of the computer.
• Slide the access panel towards the front of the computer.
• Lift the access panel up and away from the computer.
Step 3 Hard Drive
• Remove the screws that secure the hard drive to the computer.  
• Slide the hard drive out of the computer.
• Remove the screw that secures the face plate to the hard drive.
• Pull out the face plate to remove it from the hard drive.
