  • Remove the 44 mm screws on the bottom of the laptop using a #0 screw driver.

Image 1/2: Locate the slot to remove the keyboard in the lower left hand corner. Image 2/2: Using a flat screw driver as a lever, insert it into the slot and gently pry up gently.
  • Turn the laptop over carefully, and open the screen all the way.

  • Locate the slot to remove the keyboard in the lower left hand corner.

  • Using a flat screw driver as a lever, insert it into the slot and gently pry up gently.

Image 1/1: Don’t pull the keyboard out forcefully as there is still a ribbon attached  to the laptop.
  • After the keyboard pops up, pull the keyboard away from the screen just enough to release the tabs.

  • Unlock the ZIF connector on the computer by pushing the two outside tabs toward the screen.

Image 1/1: Do not pull on the ribbon to remove it from the ZIF connector.
  • Remove the flexible ribbon from ZIF connector.

  • Do not pull on the ribbon to remove it from the ZIF connector.
