Dell Latitude E6520 RAM Replacement

Introduction

RAM (Random Access Memory) determines how quickly your computer performs. Upgrading or adding RAM will improve the performance of your computer.

What you need

    • With the laptop closed and the bottom side facing up, slide the two battery latches towards the sides of the laptop.

    • When the latches are unlocked, a small logo resembling an open padlock will become visible.

    • Grasp the battery from the top and pull upward.

    • Remove the ten 8.6 mm JIS #0 screws.

    • Place fingers underneath cover and pull off the cover.

    • Push apart the two metal clips that hold the RAM in place.

    • Pull the card out of the connection port.
