1. Step 1 Remove battery and base cover
  Shut down your computer. Disconnect all power sources before opening the computer cover or panels.

  Pry the securing clips away from the memory module until it pops up.

4. Step 3 Remove memory chip (module)
  Remove the memory module from its connector on the system board by drawing the module from the system board at 45-degree angle.
  
  Repeat steps 1 and 2 to add the second memory chip (module).
