Dell Latitude D830 CMOS Replacement

What you need

  1. Dell Latitude D830 CMOS Replacement, Remove the battery and memory module cover.: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Remove the battery cable connector from the connector on the system board.

    Edit

    • Being careful not to break the plastic, slightly raise the corner of the plastic sleeve above the battery.

    • While holding the plastic sleeve, grasp the battery and pull it out of the battery compartment.

    Edit

    • Install the new coin-cell battery into the plastic sleeve.

    • Connect the cable connector to the system board.

    Edit

    • Reinstall the keyboard and hinge cover.
