Introduction

Not much prior knowledge is required before starting. According to Dell, however, you must have the following tools:

"#0 and #1 magnetized Phillips-head screwdrivers

Small flat-blade screwdriver

5-mm socket wrench

7-mm socket wrench

Small plastic scribe"

What you need

Step 1 RAM

Flip laptop over.

Step 2

Remove the screws over the RAM door

Step 3

Open the RAM door.

Step 4

Carefully pull the tabs over the RAM chip down - the RAM will spring up.

Step 5

Installing Dell Latitude CS RAM: step 5, image 1 of 1

Remove the RAM from the socket and insert replacement RAM.
