1. Step 1 Remove the battery, SD card & base cover.
  Shut down your computer. Disconnect all power sources before opening the computer cover or panels.
  
  Remove the battery, SD card & base cover from the computer, respectively.

2. Step 2 Pry open clips; remove memory chip/module from connector.
  Pry the securing clips away from the memory module until it pops up. Remove the memory module from its connector on the system board.

4. Step 3 Insert memory chip; press down until it clicks into place.
  Insert the memory module into the memory socket.
  
  Press the memory module down until it clicks into place.

5. Step 4 Install the base cover, SD card, & battery.
  Install the base cover, SD card, & battery on the computer, respectively.
