Dell Latitude 3380 Speakers Replacement

What you need

    • Turn the laptop over so that the back is facing up.

    • Remove the nine 3 mm screws with a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

    • Use an opening tool to pry the back cover away from the laptop.

    • Using tweezers, disconnect the power cable connecting the speakers to the motherboard.

    • Using the nylon spudger, pry off the velcro straps attaching the cable to the chassis.

    • The metal spudger is used in the photo, but please use the nylon one as it is ESD safe.

    • Using the spudger, pry off the other velcro strap attaching the power cable to the chassis.

    • The metal spudger is used in the photo, but please use the nylon one as it is ESD safe.

    • Using your fingers, unhook the last part of the cable from this metal hook.

    • Gently lift the speakers from the chassis.

    • They will be attached via velcro to it so you should have some resistance. This is normal.
