Dell L100 U021 Large Keycap Replacement

Introduction

Keycaps can become sticky or damaged over time. Here is how to remove and replace large sized keycaps, like the space bar.

What you need

  1. Dell L100 U021 Large Keycap Replacement, Medium Keycap: step 1, image 1 of 2 Dell L100 U021 Large Keycap Replacement, Medium Keycap: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Place the prongs on either side of the keycap

    • Twist to grip the top and bottom corners

    • Pull the keycap from the board

    • Insert the flat end of the spudger under the medium keycap and gently press up until it pops off

    • After removing the medium keycaps around the large keycap, gently pull up on the large keycap
