Dell Inspiron 15 N5040 Hard Drive Replacement

What you need

    • CAUTION: Hard drives are extremely fragile. Exercise care when handling the hard drive.

  1. Dell Inspiron 15 N5040 Hard Drive Replacement, Remove the Screws: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the two screws from the computer base.

    • Slide the hard drive to the right to disconnect it from the connector on the system board.

    • Lift the hard drive out of the computer base.

    • Place the NEW hard drive on the computer base.

    • Push the hard drive towards the left to connect it to the connector on the system board.

  6. Dell Inspiron 15 N5040 Hard Drive Replacement, Replace the Screws: step 7, image 1 of 1
    • Replace the two screws to the computer base.
