    • Close the lid and turn the laptop over to access the back cover.

    • Remove the five 4 mm screws from the back of the laptop using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

    • Loosen the two remaining captive screws using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

    • Gently dislodge the metal hooks that are on both sides of the RAM by slightly pulling them apart.

    • The metal hooks are very thin, be sure not to bend them while dislodging them.
