  1. Dell Inspiron 14 M4010 Battery Replacement, Slide the Lock Latch: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Shut down the computer and turn it over.

    • Slide the battery lock latch until it clicks into place.

    • Slide the battery release latch to the unlock position.

    • Slide and lift the battery out of the battery bay.

    • Align the tabs on the NEW battery with the slots on the battery bay.
