Step 1 Close the Display

Close the display and turn the computer over.

Step 2 Sliding the Battery Latch

Slide the battery-release latch to the unlocked position.

Step 3 Removing the Battery

Lift the battery at an angle and remove it from the battery bay.

Step 4 Placing the Battery

Place NEW the battery in the battery bay and snap the battery into place.
