Cuisinart TOA-60FR Power Cord Replacement

Introduction

If you are having trouble turning on your Cuisinart TOA-60Fr, it could be the power cord. The steps in this guide will walk you through the process of replacing the power cord. This does necessitate some wire stripping ability as well as knowledge of hot and natural electoral wire.

What you need

Step 1 Outside removal

Using a 25-hexagon head, unscrew these 7.31 mm three screws.

Using a Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove all these 7.31 mm screws.
Pull off the back.

Flip the oven upside down.
Pick the grey stoppers out with a sprudger.
Using a Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove these three 11 mm screws.

Unscrew all of the 11.05 mm screws that connect the outer shell to the device.

Pull the top piece off.
Push down before pulling up to release the tabs.

Take the needle nose pliers and cut off the crimped-on-wire connectors.
Pressed down hard. These wires are thick.
These are crimped on wire conncetors so they can not be twisted off. The only way to remove them is by cutting off the wire.

Strip the wires back with wire strippers. Or carefully take the needle nose pliers and cut gently to only make a mark on the jacket and not the wires. Then pull with the pliers to remove the jacket.
