Contour Roam2 Rotating Lens Replacement

Introduction

This guide will give you step-by-step instructions on how to replace the rotating lens cover on your Contour Roam2. Follow this guide if the lens been scratched or damaged.

What you need

  1. Contour Roam2 Rotating Lens Replacement, Rotating Lens: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Using the phillips head screwdriver (PH000) locate and remove the 4.45mm (.175in) screw by the 180 degree graphic on the metal ring.

    • The screws in the camera are very small and can strip very easily. Apply consistent pressure when removing screws.

    • Rotate the metal ring counterclockwise until completely removed.

    • Use a spudger to pry up the black rubber ring around the lens cover.

    • The black rubber ring is vey thin and can easily tear. Use caution when removing.

    • Remove and replace the lens cover.
