Introduction
Go to step 1 ↓There are two reasons why you may need to replace your hard drive. Either your primary drive may be having a hardware failure or you want to upgrade to increase speed and capacity.
What you need

Remove the battery by pushing the switch to the left and removing the battery from its slot.

Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two 3mm screws on the lowest compartment.

Use a Metal Spudger remove the panel. Underneath is where the hard drive is connected .

This is where you detach your old hard drive and replace with the new component.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
