Introduction

Does your Coby Kyros MID9042 battery need to be replaced? You will need to gather some tools that are most definitely in your house, but if not they can purchase them at your local hardware store. Also, the battery replacement can be purchased at any tech store or on Amazon. These steps will help you out.

  1. Before taking the tablet apart, power off the device. Remove anti-slip pads from all four corners of the back of the device with a nylon spudger. Remove the four 1/8" screws using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
