What you need

    • Purchase flint for lighters - should look cylindrical in nature and small.

    • Pull upwards on the spark wheel to remove it from the lighter.

    • Flip the mechanism upside down so that the groove is facing up.

    • Set aside the lighter once it becomes loose enough to do it by hand.

    • Pull on the cap and the spring will come out with it.

    • Use a hard surface if necessary.

I've got the metal Clipper with a cap over the wheel (EU version). Instead of flicking the wheel with your thumb, you press down on the cap/switch. Now my flint's exhausted and I can't figure out how to remove the cap to change it! Does anyone know?
