Cleaning/Degreasing Heat Sink

What you need

    • Ensure the engine is off and cooled down before starting this guide.

    • Using a 5/16" socket or wrench, remove the three bolts holding the plastic cover on to the engine.

    • Lift away the plastic cover. Note that the starter is attached to the cover and will come off with it.

    • Using compressed air or a rag, clean debris from the flywheel.

    • Using compressed air and a rag, clean the heat sink.
