Clean the Faces

Place the tang against the bottom of the hammer

Without applying pressure to the die, tighten the upper screws of the mold holder

Apply light pressure with the hammer on top of the mold base and secure the bottom part of the mold base

Clean the upper and lower base of the shock plate

Release the pressure from the springs and set to zero

Place the die and adjust it until it hits the stop using the front screws

Tighten the die splints

Attach the punch and the extraction ruler

Clean the mold carrier and cutting carriage faces

Measure the blade height on the cutting carriage

Note: Lower blade on the plane of the cutting carriage

Note: Assemble the upper blade 0.1 mm lower than the stops

Place the cutting carriage in the mold holder

Raise the hammer using the screw

Insert spacer shims according to the size of the clamp to be made

Press the cutting carriage and separators against the die

Secure the bottom of the car to the mold carrier base

Attach the upper part to the top of the mold holder

Insert the corresponding size guide and feed the band through

Lower the hammer using the screw until it touches the stops and cuts the band

If it does not cut, shim the upper blade

Verify again that the lower blade is flush with the cutting carriage using the caliper as a straightedge

Perform the bend and check the punch height
