Introduction

If the 'on'/'off' switch of the device is stuck in the 'off' position, the device will not turn on. This guide will show how to access and replace the switch from within.

  • Flip device over, so the back panel and screws can be seen.

  • Unscrew the two 9mm screws on the back panel using the Phillips PH0 attachment.

  • Remove the back panel of the device by simply lifting upward.

Image 1/2: Unscrew these screws using a Flathead 2.5 mm screwdriver. Image 2/2: Unscrew these screws using a Flathead 2.5 mm screwdriver.
  • Locate the four 7mm screws holding the motherboard in place.

  • Unscrew these screws using a Flathead 2.5 mm screwdriver.

Image 1/1: The battery is attached to the motherboard.  The two will come out of the casing as one piece.
  • Gently lift the motherboard and battery away from the device casing.
