This guide shows how to remove the back case of the Casio Exilim EX Z55 camera to replace a damaged back case or access the inner parts of the camera.

  1. Remove eight 1.8 mm screws from the left and right sides of the camera using a Phillips #00 screwdriver Remove eight 1.8 mm screws from the left and right sides of the camera using a Phillips #00 screwdriver Remove eight 1.8 mm screws from the left and right sides of the camera using a Phillips #00 screwdriver
    • Remove eight 1.8 mm screws from the left and right sides of the camera using a Phillips #00 screwdriver

  2. Remove the four 3.7 mm screws from the bottom of the camera using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
    • Remove the four 3.7 mm screws from the bottom of the camera using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

  3. Separate the front case from the body of the camera.
    • Separate the front case from the body of the camera.

  4. Separate the back case from the body of the camera.
    • Separate the back case from the body of the camera.
