Canon PowerShot SD1300 IS Screen Replacement

Introduction

This guide will show you how to properly replace the screen on your CanonPowershot SD1300 IS.

What you need

  1. Canon PowerShot SD1300 IS Screen Replacement, Screen: step 1, image 1 of 3 Canon PowerShot SD1300 IS Screen Replacement, Screen: step 1, image 2 of 3 Canon PowerShot SD1300 IS Screen Replacement, Screen: step 1, image 3 of 3

    • Remove the two 2mm J00 screws on the right exterior.

    • Remove a single 4 mm J00 on the bottom exterior.

    • Remove a single 3mm J00 on the left exterior.

    • Once the front shell of the camera is removed the back shell should slide off just the same.

    • Use one of your plastic opening tools to separate the screen from the main body of your PowerShot.

    • Hold screen and remove connecting power cord by pulling cord away from the faulty screen.
