Using these instructions, we'll make it easy and simple for you to replace the LCD in your Canon camera.

Parts

No parts required.

Image 1/1: Pull down on the black tab to open the cover.
  • Locate the battery cover at the bottom of the camera.

  • Pull down on the black tab to open the cover.

Image 1/1: Remove the battery from the slot.
  • Push the grey tab on the right side of the battery.

  • Remove the battery from the slot.

Image 1/3: Four 3.1mm Phillips screws on the side with the hinge. Image 2/3: Two 2.7mm Phillips screws Image 3/3: Two 2.7mm Phillips screws
  • Remove the six screws on the housing of the LCD.

    • Four 3.1mm Phillips screws on the side with the hinge.

    • Two 2.7mm Phillips screws

  • Remove the plastic back of the LCD.

  • Unplug the blue cable attached to the back of the LCD.
