Canon EOS Rebel T4i Flash Replacement

What you need

  1. Canon EOS Rebel T4i Flash Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Locate the battery cover at the bottom of the camera.

    • Pull down on the black tab to open the cover.

  2. Canon EOS Rebel T4i Flash Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Push the grey tab on the right side of the battery.

    • Remove the battery from the slot.

  3. Canon EOS Rebel T4i Flash Replacement, Flash: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Using the Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two 4.9mm Phillips head screws which are located underneath the flash.

    • Remove the covering.

  5. Canon EOS Rebel T4i Flash Replacement: step 5, image 1 of 1
    • Use the tweezers to remove the excess glue around the wiring. This will allow you to cut the wire and remove the light in the next step.

  6. Canon EOS Rebel T4i Flash Replacement: step 6, image 1 of 1
    • Use the wire cutters to cut the wiring connected to the flash.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

how do you reverse step 6 - cutting the wires?

You dont tell how to make sure capacitors are discharged before changing the flash ? and do you know what is the replacement number of the flash bulb itself ?

No parts required? So I can repair my flash not having to buy a new bulb? haha Please, I need the link from where I repair my burned built-in flash :/
