What you need

Remove the carrying strap

Remove the lens and, if available, attach a protective cover to the lens mount instead.

Remove all outer screws. However, not from the lens mount.

If you haven't already done so, remove the screw behind the port cover.

Then remove both side panels.

Carefully remove the back half of the cover from the camera, starting with the tripod socket.

Unplug keyboard.

Has already happened in the second picture. To do this, press up the brown clip on the socket above the battery.

Fold up the two black clips next to the screen.

Carefully remove the screen.

It is clipped into a base and may have to be moved back and forth for this purpose.

Work the steps in reverse order to reassemble your device.
