CanoScan LiDE 35 Scanner Glass Replacement

Introduction

This guide will show you how to remove the plastic frame from the case and how to remove the scanner glass to be replaced. A little force will be necessary but with care, this guide will be fairly easy.

What you need

  1. CanoScan LiDE 35 Scanner Glass Replacement, Scanner Glass: step 1, image 1 of 3 CanoScan LiDE 35 Scanner Glass Replacement, Scanner Glass: step 1, image 2 of 3 CanoScan LiDE 35 Scanner Glass Replacement, Scanner Glass: step 1, image 3 of 3

    • Slide plastic opening tool under the plastic.

    • Gently pry the plastic framing off the glass.

    • Repeat on the other side.

    • Remove the front plastic frame.

    • Wedge the plastic opening tool under the glass.

    • Pull up against glass.

    • Slide the glass forward.

    • Remove the glass.

Can you tell me the glass dimensions (size) WxHxD in millimeters.

The dimensions of the glass: 247 mm x 339 mm x 3 mm (w x h x d)
