Introduction

This guide is meant for those who get tired of the wheels going all over the place, like on a shopping cart or a trash can. It gets annoying and I got to the point of wanting to just fix the issue. It will get your hands dirty due to these wheels being on the ground 24/7.

There arent any hazards but do be careful not to hurt yourself while popping the caster out of the slot.

What you need

Step 1 Caster

Flip the trash can upside down.

Step 2

Twist the dolly to unlock it from trashcan
Once unlocked just simply pull up to remove dolly

Using a Caster Removal tool, slide it underneath the caster and pop it right out.
If you don't have a caster removal tool, two flatheads work just as well!

With the caster removed, all thats left is to get a new caster to push right back into place
You can push it down with your hands or a rubber mallet, either is fine!
