Braven BRV-1s Front Speaker Screen Replacement

Learn how to properly remove a damaged speaker screen in order to replace it.

What you need

  1. Braven BRV-1s Front Speaker Screen Replacement, Front Speaker Screen: step 1, image 1 of 2 Braven BRV-1s Front Speaker Screen Replacement, Front Speaker Screen: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Using a 1.5mm hex screwdriver start unscrewing the 0.6mm screws holding down the front replacement screen

    • Repeat the unscrewing process for the other 7 screws

    • Use a plastic spudger to pry off the front speaker screen

    • Peel off the front screen using your fingers after using the plastic prying tool/spudger

    • Be careful not to damage the glue underneath the front speaker screen, damaging the glue may cause the device to no longer be waterproof.
