Introduction
If your problem is short battery life, this is a pretty easy fix for an expensive earpiece.
What you need

Use a little hot air to soften the glue holding the two halves together. Then you can gently separate the halves.

Beware applying too much heat over the speaker grill as it will start to sag if it gets too hot.

Note polarity of terminals.

Old battery size is 4.8 mm high, 12 mm wide, 21 mm long. .

New battery is 5 mm High, 12 mm wide and 20 mm long. It fit nicely.

Carefully solder new battery leads to correct polarity terminals on the circuit board.

Place a small dab of hot glue at each end of the case.

Gently snap the case back together .
