Black and Decker LDX 120C Outer Case Replacement

This guide is only intended to be used as a prerequisite for other guides. It's incomplete by itself.

What you need

  1. Black and Decker LDX 120C Outer Case  Replacement, Outer Case: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • For this guide we will need to use a 1.0 mm phillips #1 screw.

    • There are a total of thirteen screws that need to be removed in order to open the drill and access the interior components.

  2. Black and Decker LDX 120C Outer Case  Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the four screws on the back top side of the drill.

  3. Black and Decker LDX 120C Outer Case  Replacement: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the four screws that connect the chuck to the drill.

  4. Black and Decker LDX 120C Outer Case  Replacement: step 4, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the five screws on the front side of the drill.

  5. Black and Decker LDX 120C Outer Case  Replacement: step 5, image 1 of 1
    • Gently grab both sides of the drill casing, and separate both sides from each other.

  6. Black and Decker LDX 120C Outer Case  Replacement: step 6, image 1 of 1
    • At this point you should be able to separate both as illustrated.

  7. Black and Decker LDX 120C Outer Case  Replacement: step 7, image 1 of 1
    • Now all the components of the drill are visible and can be accessed.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
