Introduction

The Bissell CrossWave Cordless Max 2554A vacuum stores all the dirt in the dirty water tank. The water is drawn from the dirty water tank through the filter. Also, if the dirt isn't stored in the dirty water tank, the vacuum will not pick up any dirt. If there is a leak or clog in the filter, the vacuum will not properly clean.

    • Remove the dirty water tank from the main body of the vacuum by pushing down on the blue lever at the top of the dirty water tank.

    • Grab the filter from both sides and lift it out of the dirty water tank.

    • Pinch either side of the lid and pull up to separate it from the tank.
