Bissell CrossWave Cordless Max 2554A Clean Water Filter Cap Replacement

Introduction

The Bissell CrossWave Cordless Max model 2554A vacuum draws all its cleaning solution and clean water from the clean water tank. The water is drawn from the clean water tank through the filter cap. The clean water is used to prevent dust from entering the filter cap. Also, if the dust enters the filter cap, the cap will no longer be clean and might not work properly. If there is a clog or malfunction in the filter, the cleaning solution will not be dispensed properly.

    • Remove the clean water tank from the main body by pulling down on the handle at the top of the tank.

    • Flip the tank 180 degrees so that the black cap is facing up.

    • If this step is not performed, water will spill out once the cap is removed.

    • Twist the cap clockwise until the cap is free from the rest of the tank.
