Introduction

This guide will show you how to remove the rough coil of the magneto. A bad rough coil can cause the aircraft engine to run poorly and shake.

  1. Use a #2 Flathead screw driver to remove the five screws on the body of the magneto.

  3. Locate the two screws, one on the left and one on the right, of the primary circuit.
    • Locate the two screws, one on the left and one on the right, of the primary circuit.

    • Remove the screws using a #2 Flathead screw driver.

  4. Remove the primary circuit and replace it.
    • Remove the primary circuit and replace it.

    • The super coil may seem as though it does not come out but it does, it can just be a little jammed.
