Introduction

A failed impulse coupling can cause the crankshaft gear to break off. This will cause the aircraft's magneto not to work therefore the aircraft's engine will not start.

Use a 9/16 wrench to unscrew the nut on the drive shaft. Use a 9/16 wrench to unscrew the nut on the drive shaft.
