Introduction

In order to remove the bottom motherboard the battery will also have to be removed. Be aware that removing the battery will void the phone warranty. The bottom motherboard is attached to the phone with an adhesive that is simply lifted up.

  • Remove the back case using plastic opening tool.

Image 1/2: Remove the top plate. Image 2/2: Remove the top plate.
  • Remove the seven 4mm Phillips #000 screws.

  • Remove the top plate.

Image 1/3: Use a plastic spudger to remove battery. Image 2/3: Use a plastic spudger to remove battery. Image 3/3: Use a plastic spudger to remove battery.
  • Detach the battery from the mother board using a plastic opening tool.

  • Use a plastic spudger to remove battery.

Image 1/2: Remove the bottom casing. Image 2/2: Remove the bottom casing.
  • Remove the five 4 mm JIS J000 screws from bottom plate

  • Remove the bottom casing.

Image 1/2: Remove motherboard. Image 2/2: Remove motherboard.
  • Disconnect vibration motor and connector as indicated.

  • Remove motherboard.
