  1. Switch off the Laptop and remove the Battery. Unscrew the two Philips screws and remove the HDD / RAM Cover. Unscrew the two Philips screws and remove the HDD / RAM Cover.

    • Unscrew the two Philips screws and remove the HDD / RAM Cover.

  3. Remove three screws securing the hard drive caddy (hard drive assembly). Slide the hard drive assembly to the left to disconnect it from the motherboard. Slide the hard drive assembly to the left to disconnect it from the motherboard.
    • Remove three screws securing the hard drive caddy (hard drive assembly).

    • Slide the hard drive assembly to the left to disconnect it from the motherboard.

  4. Remove the two Philips screws and separate the HDD from the caddy case.
    • Remove the two Philips screws and separate the HDD from the caddy case.

    • You can install 2.5" SATA HDD, 5400rpm / 7200rpm, 320GB / 500GB / 750GB /1TB.

    • After changing / upgrading the HDD you must install an operating system or clone & copy the information from the old HDD to the new one.
