Introduction

This guide will show you how to replace the battery of the Asus X200CA. The battery is a 3Cells 3300 mAh 33 Whrs.

Parts

No parts required.

Remove the 8 black 4.7mm screws securing the keyboard to the bottom cover. Remove  the black 14.5mm screw from the center of the bottom cover.
  • Remove the 8 black 4.7mm screws securing the keyboard to the bottom cover.

Wedge a metal spudger between the keyboard and bottom cover and slide it around the perimeter until all edges separate.

Lift the battery by the tab you removed the screw from.

When I open the bottom cover there are two “tape-like” connectors that I feel would tear if I opened the cover enough to get at the battery.
