What you need

    • First of all you need to remove the 10 screws holding the laptop together.

    • Then use plastic or metal spudger to separate the bottom cover from the keyboard and touchpad assembly.

    • Once you open it, carefully unplug the keyboard and touchpad connectors. Be very careful not to damage them!

    • Once you open it, it should look like this.

    • You need to unscrew the only screw (marked in red) to be able to remove the HDD.

    • When you do that, just unscrew the 4 screws attatching the HDD to the bracket and replace it with the new one.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Hello,

This can indicate a problem with the SSD itself and/or the drivers on your laptop. Have you tried to load the drivers manually during Windows installation?
