With the screen closed, place your laptop upside-down with the front facing you.

  • Remove the five black 80mm Phillips #0 screws.

  • Remove the four black 50mm Phillips #0 screws.

Use a  metal spudger to pry the bottom panel open.

  • Lift the back panel to expose the inside of the laptop.

Using a Phillips #0 screwdriver, remove the four 2mm silver screws located at each of the four corners of the screen.

Gently lift the screen up and over.

  • Use tweezers to remove the EX2 LVDS connector cable that connects the screen and the laptop.

  • Remove the screen.
