Asus ROG G751JT-DH72 HDD/SSD Replacement

Introduction

Use this guide to replace the hard drive in your device.

What you need

  1. Asus ROG G751JT-DH72 HDD/SSD Replacement, HDD/SSD: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Lift up the rubber tab located in the upper-right corner of the backing plate.

    • Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove the 5.2 mm screw behind the rubber tap.

    • Carefully pull the backing plate off. If you have a pry tool, you can pry on the edges carefully.

    • Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the four 2.4 mm screws from the hard drive mount.

    • Remove the hard drive from the device.
