    • Before beginning to disassemble, Power off the device.

    • Excessive force can result in damaged or cracked screen. Be Gentle.

    • Gently wedge a Jimmy into the seam of the device.

    • Gently pry the Jimmy all around the seam until the back panel is detached.

    • Locate the black bundle cable connector attached to the battery of the phone.

    • Do not push down. Slide in a forward motion to avoid breaking any inner pieces.

    • Using a plastic opening tool, gently slide the black bundle cable connector towards the battery in a back and forth motion until loosened and it slides out of connection port.

    • Using a plastic opening tool, pry out the batteries to loosen them out.

    • The battery will be pried out of its port.

    • Lift the battery out of its port

    • Locate the cable that connects the power button to the motherboard.

    • Carefully lift and release the connector lock that keeps it attached the motherboard. The connector lock rotates up away from the connection to release.

    • Carefully release the connection from the motherboard.

    • Gently pry the power and volume button away from the case. There should not be much resistance when prying the button off.
