  • Remove the six Philips head screws with a Philips 0 screwdriver.

  • Using the blue plastic opening tool, separate the plastic border from around the screen carefully.

  • Lift out metal bar at the top of the screen.

Image 1/3: Gently wiggle the wire to the left to disconnect the webcam. Image 2/3: Gently wiggle the wire to the left to disconnect the webcam. Image 3/3: Gently wiggle the wire to the left to disconnect the webcam.
  • Locate the webcam at the top center of the screen and the connecting wire on the left of the webcam.

  • Gently wiggle the wire to the left to disconnect the webcam.

Image 1/2: Peel the webcam wire off the back of the screen. Image 2/2: Peel the webcam wire off the back of the screen.
  • Carefully pull the screen toward you and lay it on the keyboard.

  • Peel the webcam wire off the back of the screen.

Image 1/3: GENTLY pull the tape and cable away from you to remove the cable from the socket. Image 2/3: The screen is now disconnected and can be removed. Image 3/3: The screen is now disconnected and can be removed.
  • Peel back the tape holding the screen cable in its socket.

  • GENTLY pull the tape and cable away from you to remove the cable from the socket.

  • The screen is now disconnected and can be removed.
