Introduction

This will guide you through the process of replacing your Astro Pyle PTBL7C's speakers.

Image 1/2: The front edge is the side with the buttons on  it. Image 2/2: You may hear a cracking sound when pulling the case off of the device. This is normal, and is just the clips being pulled apart. However, be careful and pull the clips slowly/cautiously to avoid damage.
  • Slide the flat end of the spudger under the front edge of the screen and carefully pry it open.

  • Be aware of the speaker cable when removing the case, as it is still attached to the motherboard.

Image 1/1: Follow the wires back to the motherboard, removing all tape covering the wires along the way.
  • Locate the Speakers; they should be attached to the case as shown.

  • Follow the wires back to the motherboard, removing all tape covering the wires along the way.

  • This will make it easier to move the wires around.

  • Desolder the black wire from the motherboard. This will separate the speakers from the board, allowing you to replace them.
