Use this guide to help you optimize audio function from your Apple EarPods.
What you need

Using a triangle paddle, apply sufficient pressure to get in-between the opening section

Soak one side of a cotton swab with alcohol

Clean inner and outer pod using swab soaked in alcohol

-
Carefully clean the speaker cone using cotton swab

Once clean, reattach the earbud

Tool used on this step:Tweezers$4.99

Carefully remove grill out of both earbuds using tweezers
-
Take precautions not to bend grill excessively
-

Clean grill with cotton swab soaked in alcohol
-
Remove any build up of wax or sweat
-

Once the grill is clean, place the grill back inside of the apple earbuds

To reassemble your device, follow Step 7, Step 4 and Step 2 instructions in reverse order.

When I re assemble they won’t stay closed. Do I glue them back together?
