Where can you purchase a new motherboard for the TV stick?

Brandon Boykin - Reply

Where can you get a new mobo? Mine was defective from day one. Amazon thought it was the remote and replaced the remote. It still didn't work. When I contacted them to state this and get a new stick, they informed me they had refunded my purchase and I would just need to buy a new stick. They said I can through this one away. This was frustrating and being the tinkerer I am I want to get this thing to work now. If there is any info on any connections that I can reinforce that would be great too.

Some issues are caused by the flexing of the Stick (being inserted & removed) around the HDMI connector internally, in addition to the Heat dissipation issues the Fire TV Stick is known for having……. I have just re-soldered the internal cracks around the HDMI connector on my Fire TV Stick & have replaced the Amazon provided USB power adaptor (which is 1.0 ampere) with another adaptor that I have (Which is 1.35 ampere) & the stick is now operating as well if not better than it ever has
